I know most people look for a fast flying wing. Are there any slow design wings. I saw a link for the Zag Nutz it found it is a slow wing and may build this one. Are there any others?

A delta wing will generally slow down better than a regular flying wing. However, a regular wing with a 36" to 48" wingspan with a very light power setup will also slow down and float very well.

Hey. Aren't there a few "slope" wings out there? Seems to me a glider would by nature have a very low stall speed.
Shouldn't take too must to add a small motor if he want's it powered

This is what I built as my first scratch build. I built a 34" wing that was a real floater. If you were to build one about 30" and use a 1700kv blue wonder and small lipo, then I think it would fly pretty slow.

Yes I built this wing last year. I used a Wicked Jr. motor and 30a esc with a 4.1x4.1 prop and 1200mAh battery. I wanted it to be fast when I built it. I clocked this wing at 71mph with this setup. However, it would slow down pretty well also. As a general rule, the lighter you can build a plane, the slower you will be able to fly it.

That chunk of a battery weighs a bit much to be flying slow. I would recommend the 24g 1700kv Hextronic motor with a 800mAh lipo and hd8x4 prop and 10a esc to keep the gear light. Remember, you need to keep the wing loading down as much as possible if you want to fly slow. I've made this mistake several times. I build something small and heavy and expect it to fly slow and it just doesn't work.

You could also try the Dizzy Bird.
It's a German design, I just built it myself.
Flies nicely. Slow when you want, fast if you like.
Handles very neat, even when motorized.
And you can build it in two days time.
This is the url:

However, it is helpful if you can read German (like me), but building instructions have enough pictures to make things clear.
Please note that you need to make a stiffening plate on the inner bottom side of the wing, this is not so clear from the drawing.
