Most plans I have seen shared have been Adobe files that can be easily printed out to scale.

I am not sure what you mean by a link. If there is enough interest, I think we could come up with a forum for micro plans. Of course we have to be very careful about copyright issues.

Tell me more about your idea.

we don't have to worry about copy rites if no one sell any plans that is not thares to sell but we can post plans to share just not to sell

Unfortunately that's not the way copyright works...it's nothing to do with selling it simply prevents making copies. Copying a plan onto here to share breaks the copyright just as much any other form of copying.

Anyway if you did post a plan on here how would you stop someone from picking it up and selling copies of it ?

But if you have any of your own plans, which you designed and drew and own the copyright to, there's nothing stopping you sharing those.

Maybe with all the computer drawing software and photos for real airplanes we could come up with ORIGINAL/NEW R/C plans for just about anything that is or was ever a flying machine.

I like to start from the sheets of foam and a drawing and not rely on kits or copyrighted plans.

Foam/Bamboo sticks/glue/RC radio/electric/ and we are BACK INTO A CREATIVE HOBBY.... and not just sticking a kit together. <him?>
