A well needed update to the this thread and hopefully get some of you wattflyers inspired with FPV.

This is what you do when it is to windy to fly. You grab your fusion and some good friends and you go fly

Here is what I use on the fusion (this is not long range)
1. Fatshark goggles outfitted with:

Long range planes are out fitted with dragon link. I currently do not have a long range quad. Which may change over the winter :-)
It all boils down to antenna. Your video is only as good as your antennas

Thanks for the info. The range on my HGLRC Batman quad seems super limited and it's worse around trees. Using stock antennas on my diversity goggles.

Yea I am assuming they are dipole antennas. If so get rid of them they are only good in a pinch as a backup and even that is a stretch. Here are some good articles about antennas and which ones are good for the type of flying you are doing. Oh and in case the FCC is reading this. You need to have a HAM License :-)
