Super Cub Aileron Control Horns
Good Morning All,,
I'm modding a SC for ailerons.
Is it better to put the aileron control horn near the inside edge or in the middle of the aileron?

My friend and I both put the horn about a half inch from the inboard edge of the aileron. Seems to work fine.

The holes in the control horn that the clevis from the servo connects to should be centered on the hinge line.

Exactly what Voltron says about placement on the hinge line. I thought you were asking about side to side location of the horn.

The hinge line is the gap between the trailing edge of the wing and the front edge of the aileron. Its the point where the aileron attaches to the wing.
