Default Who's flying Arizona ?

Yep Its time, the summer is here. Arizona is a tricky place when it comes to rc flying, or driving. The optimum time to fly is early in the morning, of end of the day. Well just interisted to see where people are flying in the evenings in AZ, and weekend mornings. Better to fly with a couple of people than yourself sometimes.

Thanks. I know most of the places over there as I lived on the east side for almost 20 years. It's a long drive and don't make it over there much any more.

Good flying!

I'm not sure about the evenings but Nichols Part at Higley and guadalupe has lots of morning flying during the week. One of my favorite places to fly. You will find everything from Micros to old timers, 3D to Quads. Everyone I have met out there as been great to fly with.

Default Thanks Guys

I have been to nichols park quite a few times, and love it there. It is totally hidden and has perfect landing surfaces there. I have a parkzone corsair that i take down there sa well as the champ, or t-28. Awsome park to fly and everyone there is cool. Only met one other guy that had a cessna coravalis there, that plane is excellent.

Yep, Nichols Park is good. There's also the Chandler Bowl (Thude Park) off Galveston by Price (half way between Chandler Blvd and Ray, goes west on Galveston all the way to the end of the street, can't miss the field).

And then Basin 116 off Elliot betweeen Ellsworth and Signal Butte.

You must be near where my parents live. Maybe an excuse to bring a plane with me next time I visit them, so some Wattflyers can get together?

I was fortunate to catch the 2010 jet rally at Speedworld RC Flyers. Cool stuff, watched lots of $$$$$ flying around!

Anyone fly on the west side? I'm pretty close to the Fear Farm RC park. I need help learning to fly. I recently bought a Hobbyzone Super Cub. It'd be really cool if someone could help teach me. Thanks guys!!!

ronhawker, are you flying just north of the old church building? I'm on the other side of the river bed.
