Hi guys,.Durafly ME109 TX Turnigy 9X mode 2,Ia8 ESC 9 channel
Completed the build today and checked all servos working ok with my servo tester.Carried out Bind function with only the battery power to ESC
Bind successful
Fitted servo wires to ESC in this order
1 Ailerons
2. Elevators
3 throttle /input power.
4 Rudder.
Enabled aux ( 5-9 ) channels on Turnigy 9X transmitter.
for landing gear, flaps and bomb drop.
The problem is only 3 servos working on TX , rechecked all servo functions with servo tester, all working.
What can wrong.???.

mmmm by ESC I think you mean RX ??
Is the 9X still on FlySky out of box Firmware ?
OK - what 3 channels are working ? You do not say.
First thing to do is to remove propellor !! Just in case.
Second - remove all servo plugs from RX except the throttle one from ESC.
Third is to plug in one by one separately to a working channel to make sure all servos are working WITH the RX ... take care as you will be plugging different controls to that channel in turn - so only check works and disconnect immediately.
Once you have confirmed that all work as they should by the one channel - then plug servos back to their respective Rx pins - checking all working each time you add a plug ... When you plug in and find that one not working ... go back to Tx and check the screen display where it can show stick / control movements. Is the display showing that channel working ? Are you sure that you have the correct menu item assigned to that channel ? Try all the switches and knobs to see which moves the servo.
I remember the trouble I had with 9X original software where Aux channels were not so obvious to activate. I soon flashed the Tx to ER9X and all was much better.

Hi Solentlife,
Yes my stupid mistake, not Esc ,should be RX.
And ,yes the prop ls removed, and the Bind has been done
Using Turnijy 9X ,TX ,and Ia8 Rec.
Checked all
7servo functions,with my servo tester,all working individually,
Connected sevos to Rx pins in order of ,
No1 Ailerons, No2 ELevators, No3 Throttle, No4 Rudder
All work on sevo tester,No1 Ailerons does not when connnected
To Rx.
Enabled all Aux channels ,flaps, landiing gear etc all work when connected separately
To servo tester, but act strangely when connected too Rx,flaps and landing gear work at the same time, and ailerons also works on Aux pins

Hi Nigel, Re ME109
I have taken the photos of the TX and the RX ,but the site will not allow me to send them to you until I have 5 posts.
Could you send me an email address to enable me to send them on to you.

Hi Nigel,
Thanks Nigel.
The photos are taken and I will try and sort out how I can get them to you.
The Turnigy TX and RX were bought off Hobbyking as a combination buy.TX and RX combo.
A few weeks ago , as my older TXs do not have enough channels to support the ME109. The TX is a 9X Digital proportional R/C system.
The module is Native 2.4 GHz. FCC IDn4zrm00300.
The RX , supplied with the RX ,is a Turnigy IA8 Receiver AFHDS 2A. B/PPM.
4.0-6.5 V/DC.
Thanks Nigel.

I know the 9x well ... I have 2 of them.
First thing I did was ditch the FlySky module ... relegated that to other 'duties' ... I also flashed the Tx's to er9x firmware. Fitted FrSky modules ...
But anyway ... I have a feeling that the IA8 Rx is the later i series primarily design for the i series Tx and backwardly compatible for 9x ...
I cannot help much more now as you are still on factory set ... but it may be worth asking on the FlySky group I set up years ago ... (The 9x is actually a FlySky product rebadged by Turnigy ...) Link is below in my signature.

Hi Nigel,
Thanks for your efforts and advice.
I will contact Hobby king and ask them why they are selling the TX and RX as a
compatible set up, and ask them to sort it out, the electronics are a bit beyond me.

Hi Nigel,
Dont know what happened there.
What do you think about the TX or the RX,could they be faulty, they certainly do not do the job they were advertised and sold to me for.I have not heard from them when I asked for help.

Hi Nigel,
You will be pleased to know he problem with the ME109 is fixed.
I just tried another TX and RX ,borrowed from the Dynam fw190 kit I have built up.
and on the ME109 all servos work perfectly, with he Dynam TX and RX.
So either the Turnigy 9X TX or RX are faulty,I will experiment further tomorrow, with the
turnigyTX and the Dynam RX to prove which is faulty. And then submit a claim.
