Default Blade 350 QX3 - No Bind Light

I installed a new BLH8101 control board in my Blade 350 QX3. When power is turned on, the LED light will go through color sequence and turn off. When the 350 is turned upside down, nothing happens, no flashing blue bind light. Some times when turned on, the light will flash red/yellow with a beeping sound. I rechecked the wiring and it looks okay. What should I try next?

Sounds like an ESC communication issue.......any time a control board is replaced, the ESC's must be recalibrated to communicate with the board......there could be 1/2 a dozen other issues, but I'd start there first....

How can I recalibrate if it won't bind?

No mention of audible error codes you are experiencing.....?

Here's a list of audible error codes...:

ESC power on one short beep

Successful initialization many continuous tones with increasing frequency

RC signal detected after start one long tone

Bind detected one long tone

Bind accepted (3 seconds after detected) one long tone

Thrust stick in correct position for motor start low, med, high (happy tone)

Cannot start motors because of low voltage high, med, low (sad tone)

Cannot start motors because vehicle is tilted high, med, low (sad tone)

ESC ID assignment mode loud high, low high, low

Gyro, accelerometer sensor error High, low, 1 short tone

Compass initialization error High, low, 2 short tones

Pressure sensor initialization error High, low, 3 short tones

GPS initialization error High, low, 4 short tones ESCs not detected High, low, 6 short tones

Settings saved (i.e. when changed GPS on/off, etc) Rapid low, med, high low, med, high

Trim warning (when in Smart or Agility Mode) Continuous very short, rapid tone.

Low-battery warning Medium frequency, loud tone (every 3 seconds)

Emergency state warning (also after ESC ID assignment) Once per second loud medium tone."

There are supplemental additions and user cards for all of the 350QX models on the Horizon web site........suggest you take a look at those

(1) I know this thread is old but . . . I had a 350qx laying around that fell out of the sky due to esc. So I had some spare 12amp esc multicopter laying around. I spliced them in and resoldered everything in its proper place. When the quad powers up it goes through each of the color lights just once and then no more lights. It beeps about every 3 sec or so. I tried turning it over to get into bind mode. But that didn't work. I know it was a reach to think the new aftermarket esc's would work. I'm still confident It could be some small thing I've over looked. The flight controller board has a blue and red light on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know I purchased a usb firmware cable years ago . . .but I've bought tons of rc gear since then . .. where could it be Thanks in advance.

(2) I found my usb firmware cable. Updated to v3. The esc's are shown as red. When I try to turn the esc's during calibration for flight controller to recognize them it doesn't register. Hmmmmm darn proprietary gear
