Default HELP! 4 in 1 doesn't ever go green!

Hi. Just got my honeybee CP2 in the mail the other day. Charged up my lipo. (Granted, the instructions were totally wrong, and expected that I was using a charger different than the one I actually got). Following all instructions. Radio TX ON, Throttle and throttle trim to "off" position. Plugged in battery, 4 in 4 flashes red a few times, and then goes off. No nothing.. Tried all sorts of combinations of things. Can't seem to get it happen. Checked voltage of the lipo, looks good.

Anybody know whats up?

Check that the Idle Up switch is turned off.

I Tried that already. Any other suggestions? I mean, I don't even hear the servo's hum...

Reseat the receiver crystal. Also check crystal on transmitter. I hope they match!

My Blade CX does that every once in a while. What I do is once the light shuts off I nudge the throttle up then back it down to zero which gets the lights blinking again and my 4n1 locks in. YMMV.

Tried all of these things. No luck. Never even got the servo's to hum. I sent the 4-in-1 back to the seller to replace. Thanks everyone for your suggestions...

Receved the new 4-in-1. Works like a charm! ...

Just one problem. I can't seem to get enough oommfff out of the tail rotor. Tried turning up the 4-in-1 to compensate, Trimmed all the way to the right, and still barely counteracts the rotor while on the ground... Anybody have any ideas?

Putting trim to the right decreases the the tail thrust. Inadequate tail thrust might also mean a shot motor. But since yours is new, it leads us back to the 4-in-1.

Have you adjusted your Proportion pot yet? This mixes tail with main rotor.

Yes, I have turned up the proportion to the max. Maybe tihngs are backwards.. My tail rotor stops, when I push the stick to the left.

Sound right?

Figured it out. The little rubber tube that holds the tail rotor on allowed for too much play. When i snugged it in, it spins up better, and provides more than enough thrust... On to my next problem. I'll start a new thread for that.
