Did a search on all the fourms without much info on this version or the new -2. A guy at the field had one so I traded him an 18A ESC I won at a funfly last year. It's NIB and has never been used. I'm interested in installing it in the Telemaster to play around. Anyone have any experance with this or the new version?

I have several, I think the difference in the 1 & 2 versions was that the 1st version allowed for 2 aileron servos. They work well if the plane is balanced well first. Best to use a dial channel to set the sensitivity, I think. Also, test and double check the direction switches. I flew one plane and was not happy with the response-only to find a needed to reverse the aileron switch!

Thanks for the advise. I read through the directions last night and it seems fairly easy to get going. I may install this on my slow stick first to test it and see how well it work. I'd hate to put it on my STM and have a problem. The only thing I don't like is you can't completly shut the thing off in flight. I know the sensativity can be adjusted but what if there were a serious problem?
If nothing else it will be fun to play with and it will help my son fly better.

I have mine on ch 7 on my futaba 8UAF. when all the way CCW, it is essentially off. I normally run to about half way on the knob. If the plane is balanced well, and it suddenly goes squirrly, chances are you have one of the little dip switches reversed. I have one on my Pilatus Porter and one on my old trainer for fun. I can take it up on a windy day, dial the PA to about 1/2 and watch it hover in the wind. Really helps too if you get disoriented!
