Default Write your name/number on your plane!

Just a quick note to any and all nubies. Write your name on your plane---fly offs happen. I have here at my house a brand new, perfect HZ tranier I would LOVE to return to whoever was trying to learn to fly. It landed in a bush in my yard, compleately unscathed. I'm checking with my LHS, but so far no luck. So---write your name and number on your plane (esp. if it has A.C.T.--as you can't force it down in a wind)

Could you please define A.C.T.?
The only thing I can find is:

ACT - Test to do before flying A=antenna (up), C=controls (proper directions), T=throttle (quick runup and idle)

ACT= anti crash technology. It does not work, I learned that the hard way on my Firebird Commander 2.

ACT is a standard feature on Hobby Zone or Park Zone planes by Horizon Hobbies, it is on nothing else.

If you are flying at an AMA sanctioned field, I think you will find that it is a requirement to have either your AMA number or your name and address attached to the model in order to be covered by their insurance.

ACT =Advanced Crash Technology it allows you to crash your plane in ways you never though possible
Or in some cases to fly off into the wild blue yonder totally ignoring you input for it to come back:<

unless it crashed into a brand new Ferrari, and the guy is looking for you, haha.

when i was a newbe one of my planes flew off, it take me +30min to find it. It had crashed hard into a parking lot next to a Ferrari!! The guy was there and wished me well on my next plane.... haha 2ft over and i would have lost my house, or i could have made a run for it. haha

now i'm a AMA member so i'm insured....
