Write your name/number on your plane!
#1

Just a quick note to any and all nubies. Write your name on your plane---fly offs happen. I have here at my house a brand new, perfect HZ tranier I would LOVE to return to whoever was trying to learn to fly. It landed in a bush in my yard, compleately unscathed. I'm checking with my LHS, but so far no luck. So---write your name and number on your plane (esp. if it has A.C.T.--as you can't force it down in a wind)

If you are flying at an AMA sanctioned field, I think you will find that it is a requirement to have either your AMA number or your name and address attached to the model in order to be covered by their insurance.

unless it crashed into a brand new Ferrari, and the guy is looking for you, haha.
when i was a newbe one of my planes flew off, it take me +30min to find it. It had crashed hard into a parking lot next to a Ferrari!! The guy was there and wished me well on my next plane.... haha 2ft over and i would have lost my house, or i could have made a run for it. haha
now i'm a AMA member so i'm insured....
