Default Anyone have experience with House of Balsa?

Anyone ever order balsa kits from the House of Balsa? It looks like they have a nice selection. Anyone have any problems ordering from them?

Many of my friends have HOB planes. I heard of no complaints, about the kits or company.

They are good folks. Their kits represent "older" technology but some good stuff. Some is WAY too expensive IMHO - Like the Mustang for example. Other items are very affordable.

Jim,
I have built the HoB electric Mustang kit. I Loved the kit. It was my second kit build and the quality of the wood, laser cutting, instruction manual and plans were all phenominal.

I bought the kit second here on Wattflyer, so I can't comment on their customer service. But I am 100% satisfied with their product.

Here's my build thread.

Wow Max2112! Very nice build. Now this is the kind of kit that I use to build. This is right down my alley! I will defiantly be looking at this Mustang as my next build! Thanks so much for the info and great build thread...

I know it's an old thread, but I have seen these kits pop up from time to time on C-list and other sites.
Don't miss out if you see one - they are truly excellent kits.
See my Park Flyer thread.

I could enjoy building more of these kits.
