Default Specktrum Dx vs. Nx

I'm looking to purchase a Specktrum radio & receiver. What's the difference or benefit of the newer Nx system vs the Dx system? I'm looking to go with at least a 6 channel.

From what I understand the new NX model transmitter has the built in Smart Technology support for the Spektrum line of batteries and chargers. It has more functionality and features than the DX versions. It really depends on you and what you want out of your radio. More features = more money.

They all use the DSMX receivers though so you could upgrade to the NX and not lose existing receivers.
