Default new at the 2.4 Ghz transmitter's and receivers

I just was given B17 fortress very small scale with a blade 2.4 MHz channel transmitter and it has the AS3X stability .
I was also given a corsair air 48 " wing with the AS3X receiver in it. will the simple Blade transmitter work with this larger model or the range wouldn't be enough .do they make a Receiver 72 MHZ with AS3X added to it or can I purchase a isolated AS3X to plug into the 72 MHz receiver?

It is hard to say definitively since there are no specs listed for that transmitter but having been around this for a while I'm going to say no. I just don't see it having the range to be effective with a larger bird like that

I think both of those will work with Spektrum transmitters like a DX6 or the others offered by Spektrum.
