Default 1/6 J3 Cub dummy engine - looking for a pattern

Hi all,
I'm building a sig j3 1/6 scale and I'm looking for a pattern to cut out for the dummy engine. I saw one once on the net but of course that was months ago and now can't find it. What I saw was one sheet where one would cut out the parts I.e. cooling fins and such then assemble the engine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I believe what you are looking for is at the Cub Den

The "Make a Continental Engine" is under the J3/L4 related tab.

Here is mine made with the supplied links.

Default Some Ideas for Dummy Cub Engine

I have an old Sig 1/6 Cub electric conversion project that I'll be resuming shortly. Made dummy engine cylinders and "shadow boxes" inset in the cowl for cylinders to mount to. Shrouds are made of manila folder, exhausts are soldered brass tubing.I have collected lots of photos of Cub interior, landing gear, strut details, etc. I made a mechanical side door latch mechanism, would use RE magnets today, much easier. Have clip-wing kit too

Wow those look nice. Might go that way if I have to replace the cowling in the future which is a distinct possibility since I'm not happy with the way it turned out.
