FMA Cellpro 4S -The Best LiPo Charger?
#51

My own experience with a 4S in the UK is that it is very quick compared to my Graupner Duo 30 and it balances at the same time. The HD reckons to be able to charge at up to 10A I believe which will I hope mean that 5S and 6S packs will be able to be charged as quickly as the 4S does the smaller configs. of lipo.

I've got one of these and love it ! my only critisism is that it doesn't have a nice metal case being just boards covered with printing and clear shrink wrap, I had to stick some self adhesive feet on it to keep it from moving around the bench.
Technically I can't fault it and it has loads of safeguards to make charging these little bombs as safe as possible.

How about the charger from commonsenserc?
http://www.commonsenserc.com/product...roducts_id=185
I think I've seen it at the LHS for about $10 less than MSRP...
How does it compare?

If they will come with newer charger, with at least those features that old ones have, it would be one of the best LiXX chargers on the market (as Cellpro and Balpro are).

Perhaps someone could provide a more thorough explanation of the differences of the chargers in a feature-by-feature manner? I started a simple spreadsheet listing a few chargers. Being relatively new to li-po charging, I'm sure I may not be identifying all the right hot buttons. I also could have some errors in the chart -- it's just meant as a starting place.
Would someone take a look?
Thanks.

Could anyone tell me if the plugs on the Hobby King LiPo's will work with the CellPro 4S charger. I am refering to, Zippy Flightmax, Rhino, and Turnigy? I have the adaptor board for the CellPro and it lists Hobby City, is that the same as Hobby King and the above listed brand names? Thanks much for any help you can give me on this. Ray

HobbyCity is synonymous with HobbyKing - I use a CellPro10 with many different packs from there. The Greatplanes and Horizon adapter is correct for the Zippy/HobbyCity/HobbyKing packs. You have the correct adapter board.
