Sounds like a plan to me...
BTW, this is my Rev E version of my AeroVette Smoke, uhmm I dont think it counts as being simple due to the sculpting that needs to take place, but I did a mock up from white foam and it only took me an hour. I must say it is mostly inspired from a 78 vette but the back of the cockpit is more like an early 70's style, 72 I think.

Doyle,
It may be inspired by a corvette but my first thought was Batman!
Looks like something you would see cruising around Gotham.
Skiman,
I just cut out Chellies SQD off pictures. No problem. Can a delta do 3d?
FFFC,
The rules Gary laid out look good to me. So far I think they are all great ideas. This is going to be fun.

I'm still working on flying my first one but I thing with the right power and a good size rudder it should do some 3d I'm sure it's not the perfect platform but it will fun to do more the fly in circles
Kosh says they will prop hang for a short while with enough power so I think bigger flight controls and duel rates are worth a try anyway

So I guess I need to get off my rear and put together Chellie's SQD and see if I can even fly a delta.
So the curiosity is killing me Doyle, what will a 1978 Corvette flying wing look like?
My wife is pretty sure that I have lost what little bit of sanity I had left. She's never understood how I can spend so much time on "toys" that I either crash or get bored with. And now that I've gone around this evening humming circus music she's convinced I'm crazy.

Thanks for all the compliments, I appreciate it. I do need to ask though, what kind of power plant do you think this will need? Chellie I thought about ordering what you did for your delta but are there other considerations I need to take into account? I am looking for good speed but not too fast and something that will handle the wind pretty well. Any suggestions? I need to know it all prop, motor, servos, tx/Rx, ESC...
Ohh and another thing, Chellie, with your buld you put some carbon posts for sturdiness, where do you get those?

Are you affiliated with Team Flying Cirkus? They are pretty proprietary (businessmen) about their name....
I am just itching for someone to put up plans.....I got 3mm and 6mm standing by.

This sounds like fun but sorry I cant offer any plans because I don't use them myself. All my concept plane are made from TLAR method (That Looks About Right) so I never know for sure how it will come out because of changes. Doesn't matter if your motor is in the front, middle or rear most deltas will fly well with amazing control given enough wing area.
Dropping wings below 55 degrees wingsweep is around the point that they become harder to control and need to fly at much more speed to keep them airborne. Another point is they don't really need a brushless motor to preform well, A GWS 300 - 350 with B or C gearing will make one go if you already have the spare gear.
Google Sketchup works great for creating new concepts and trying different shapes but takes a few hours to get the hang of it. It lets you rotate your plane in 3D so you can really get a feel of how it will look. http://sketchup.google.com/
Heres some photos of past and current projects some of you may have seen before so your welcome to improvise on them. Be creative, try new designs and HAVE FUN !!!

GA-Flyer design is fantastic and has just the same wing shape I was working on already. Very well done for a great design.
I uploaded his design again but in a jpg form smaller in file size.

Okay...so anyone have something in a delta good for like a LS purple Peril on 3s with a 6 inch prop. I'd like 'zippy'.

Now thats what I'm talking about....and Kosh, ya know me too well...PUSHER!!!
Whats the CG on her?

Hey Kosh...
That like the stuff. I have a purple peril sitting in a box....been looking for a nice small delta wing (aside from my Superfly) to put it on....
You fly that lil delta? Looks sexy!!!!

PS a jr or hitec radio are good too, use a mini receiver, like a hitec micro 05s, radios can be found cheap on e Bay. a 8x4 prop would be good to start out with, not to much speed with that prop.

Its fast and can just about do it all, I love to go vertical with it untill its almost out of sight, Dont Worry about the Sanity or Going Crazy, I am already there

Hi Skiman762
I just had a thought, how about if all the club members vote over the weekend on the clubs name, that way it should give everyone time to sign into wattflyer and vote over 2 days, and Monday we will have a name, It looks like we have enough Club Members/Party Animals here to vote, Take care, Chellie

Both of the planes below were made for a LSPP but I flew them with a 8x6 on a TP-1320 2 cell. Wings are 20" by 18" long and it will do limited hover yet still has the power to climb straight up from that. Theres no reason a 910 or 1320 - 3 cell cant do the same but faster. To tell you the truth the simple deltas like these were just more fun to fly and can be flown in smaller areas. These 2 planes happen to be my favorites to fly at the park.
