Default Carbon CUb S+ initial settings for elevator after flap installation

I have completed the flap mod on my Carbon Cub S+ and it works great on the bench. Am using it with a DX8 transmitter. On the flap setup page, there are percent options for elevator. I assume this will mix in a little down elevator for approach and more down elev. for full flaps. Am a bit worried that I might set the percentage too much down elevator on initial flight with flaps and it would nose over into the ground. The Carbon Cub manual doesn't say anything about elevator settings for flaps. Does anyone know what are good initial settings?

Percentages are useless, they only make sense for exactly the same total throws.
You need mm deflection, or an angle.

You have a good point there. I am checking &setting up the appr and full flap deflection to what the Cub manual specifies today, and it would be good if had some clue about how many mm deflection to set the elevator to....so I am at least in the ballpark on the first use of flaps.

You donít really need them, and none are specified in the manual.
I can tell you it will balloon nose up at about 1/3 throttle- you have to force the nose down for a landing. I added some based on the same settings for my T-6 from eFlite and my Cherokee from same vendor. Works out pretty good with the Cherokee settings - check the free download manual from them.
