I'm glad they are making these planes to take the micro gear. Scott crashed his little 4-Site at the Rose Bowl. He ordered the dynex 2.4 from dynamic foamy. He commissioned me to build it for him. I will make a template of both the 4-Site, and the Dynex 2.4. See you all Thursday night at 6pm. Cross town Church of Christ, Harvard and admiral.

I think I have decided to try that Liddlerod, I like the way it looks. I want something to relax with before I get another 3D plane.

Barry your SloYak is ready, I will bring it with me tomorrow.

James have you ever flown the Vapor? BNF $99, almost indistructable. I'm thinking of getting one. Your Liddlerod looks cool, but I can't imagine that it would be any more floaty, or relaxing than the vapor. They look like they would fly about the same. If you already have the radio gear, I'd give the Liddlerod a chance, but if not, I would go with Vapor.
Sorry, I had an extra 2 cents, thought you might want it.
See you guys tonight. The entrance, and parking is behind the building. Enter at the coverd awning. I will be there a little before 6pm to start moving tables, and chairs.

Before you buy the Vapor, check out the Ember. I have both and I enjoy flying the Ember much more. I fly it outdoors if the wind is almost calm in the evenings.

I fly the Ember in big circles six inches off the floor and it is entirely stable. It is my favorite indoor flyer, and I have several.

Jim, you are right. The Ember is better. I got to fly both at the indoor fly Thursday night. Ed pointed out that the Vapors covering is damaged a lot, and it can be a pain to repair. He said the Ember's wing can be replaced for $8, and only takes 30sec. I like the Ember better because it still floats good, and it has about three times the speed if you want it.

Now they just need to come out with an Ember v3 with ailerons on a non dihedriel, symetrical wing. I hope if they are going to do it, they do it quick before I buy the Ember v2. Maybe I should just get the Eber v2, and make that mod myself.

I don't think you will see that kind of Ember anytime soon if at all. You could add ailerons but you would also add weight and it would take away some of the nice qualities of the Ember.

I know. Oh, I want it to be able to do 3D. With a 30 min. flight time. Oh, and unbreakable.

I have another date for an indoor fly at the Crosstown Church of Christ. Saturday February 27th 2-7pm. We may stretch it to 8pm.
You can tell anyone now. You might tell people that there is no cost, but there will be a donation basket (this time, and every time from now on) to help cover the cost of lights, and heat etc...This money will be added to thier regular Sunday morning contribution.
