I ended up with my oldest son Ryan, daughter Sarah, and Claire. Yes, I was shocked when Claire wanted to go. I had planned on taking Amber, but ran out of room in the car. She was upset, but I promised that I'd take her another time (next week maybe, the tides will be good).

There was no one in the "ditch" so I was able to put in the water there. Apparently, Ryan found the hole.

Count:
Ryan: 6 (He found a sweet spot and kept fishing it)
Sarah: 1
Me: 1 (though I rarely got to touch my fishing pole because I was taking care of everyone else)
Claire: nothing. She would not leave her line in the water long enough to catch anything. I tried to tell her....but well....you know the deal.

About 1am (yes 1 o'clock in the morning) Claire started getting whiney (she quit fishing about 1:30). I kept throwing her pole out and telling her to leave it for a few minutes, then give it a couple of reels, and let it sit again. She just kept reeling it right back in...I gave up. I know that her problem is likely that she lure fishes fresh water with her dad, and in that case, yes you cast and reel. She just felt the need that dad knew more than I did, which was not the case. Oh well. We stayed until a little after 2. Ryan and Sarah wanted to stay (they were getting A LOT of bites, just unable to follow through) but I told them that I was tired and that we had a long drive home. (not totally untrue) Sarah did really well for having never been out there. She listened well and did as instructed. Ryan's first catch was a double hook. He was thrilled with catching 2 at one time. This motivated Sarah to pay attention to my instruction.

All in all... a good time.

Oh btw: we were using the "Fish Bites" artificial bait. Worked like a charm.

Nice pics. I probably wont get to go fishing for a while. Too many "un-fun" things to do.

Sounds good to me! My kids have swimming lessons at 9am. I'll see if I can get the wife to take them. If so, I'll be there.

Have fun guys. Wish that I could be there. I got the Torque motor today. Have not got it in yet. Was working on the Ultra Stick. About 95% done. I have to wait for the landing gear that I ordered for it. The stock gear are not going to cut it. Way to flimsy. Electronics installed and fired up. Looking good.

Barry, what prop are you running? I was thinking 11x5.5

I'm running an APC 11x7E For my style of flying it works. I've tried 10x6, 10x7,10x8, 10x10, 11x5.5, 11x7, 12x6, 12x3.8 most of those were E props with some SF thrown in for good measure.

Autorail? What happened? Looks like the Stryker. Doing high speed low passes again? Sorry that I missed you guys today. Unfortunately I had to work, and Autorail is not a board certified medical Dr. so his note would not have been any good. While I was sitting at work, I remembered that I left my radio on.... one marshmello lipo. It was very round. Well.... another one down. I just ordered 2 more so that I can kill them too.

We have to make sure we check with eachother BEFORE the TX is turned on! Oh no! I think we are about to turn into a "real" club. Spektrum has its issues ,but at least I don't have to worry about frequency conflicts.

Well, I've only got 1 on 35 and I'll likely change it to 45 so that I'm only on 39 and 45

When's the BBQ?
Are you going to be the President?
When's the meetings?
Are we going to have a PAC fund? What kind of political influece do you bring to the club?
How come there's no money in the club account? You buying airplanes with club money? I demand an investigation!

Ok... I'm done picking now.

I only have 1 on 35 and I'll likely change it to 45 so that I'm only on 39 and 45. I have another crystal in my box, I'll see what it is. I want to say it's 27. Either way, I'll make sure that I'm off of Jeff's channel. He had it first...mine came with the Rx.

Yeah, you need to reprogram yourself!! I have to place an order soon to replace some of my older lipos. I have about 8 that are in at least their 4 th season of use and they are getting a little tired.

I can too. I have a JR 7202 synthasized. Most are on 39, just a couple of other channels here and there due to buying the Rx's used with crystals.
