Thumbs up CASA SPRING SIZZLE in Rockville, MD

Saturday May 27th and 28th CASA (Capital Area Soaring Association) will hold its Annual Spring Sizzle, an all e-flight event at the Gude Drive flying field in Rockville, MD.

Then on Memorial Day Monday an F5J event will be held at the same location from 8 am through 4PM.

All are invited to this fabulous shindig. CASA is located but a few miles from Washington, DC and it is easily accessible from I-95. Manufacturers and hobby shops will be set up and ready to answer questions about their product lines, and will have some on hand to be sold as well.

Links below will take you to the CASA Annual Spring Sizzle page as well as maps to the field and to CASA's website.

Southern California Wattflyer Members !!!!!!!All around the country there are electric fun flys and fly ins how come I don't see any for CA. Well guess what ,this is a survey for interrested Wattflyer members .The Pomona Valley Model Airplane Club will be holding an all electric fun fly AMA sanctioned event open to all AMA Members sometime early this summer I'm working on finding out the details to post here. The website for that club is PVMAC.com if u would like to check out their facilities .I've heard it thru the grapevine that our famous celeb Wattflyer moderator Chellie is serious about attending .You can private message me and I will help you with camping and motel accomadations. There will be no camping at the field.

Default Annual I-net Fly-In, Muncie IN. 6-18 to 6-20 2010

We are having our annual Fly-In at AMA HQ in Muncie Indiana. It's just a gathering of wing-nuts who like to fly & have a good time. All types of aircraft are welcome. It is held at the AMA HQ in Muncie, IN. Site 4. Camping sites with electrical hookup, water on site, dump station on the way out. It started out as an RCH event, but we would like to expand the attendance. A great bunch of fun-loving pilots. If you have never been to Muncie, it is well worth the trip. The museum alone is just incredible. Some of us will be showing up on Friday, leaving on Monday. we will also be having a guest coming over from Liverpool, England!
Come for a day, stay for the weekend, but show up!
No landing fees, donations will be accepted plus a raffle of many prizes on both days.
My wife will be putting on a small scrapbooking class for the women, plus I hear there is also a mall trip planned.
Feel free to PM me with any questions.
Hope to see you there,
Mark
