Default Programming a ZTW esc with an E-flite 90 using a Spektrum TX 6 with a Spektrum AR 610

I am having trouble programming my ZTW esc with my E-Flite 90 electric. The ZTW and the 90 are perfectly matched as long as they are in sync. I would appreciate any help anyone could offer as I am unable to read nor speak Chinese. Thank you, Keith

What do you want to do ?

Throttle range ?

Set for motor magnets ?

Set brake ?

Soft on / off ?

LVC ?

ESC's have many functions that can be altered - but generally out of box works for majority of models.

Altitude Hobbies sells ZTW ESC's stateside and has links to the manuals in English:

Gecko Series: http://www.altitudehobbies.com/ztw_gecko_manual.pdf

Mantis Series: http://www.altitudehobbies.com/ztw_mantis_manual.pdf

Apparently there have been timing issues with the Gecko series:

I'd like to add Altitude Hobby has excellent customer service. They care about customer satisfaction.

On the flip side, the ZTW esc 85amp gave me issues with a eflight motor on my sig smith mini. There were issues with the esc's programing and Altitude gave me a refund. Garret the owner of Altitude answers the phone and will work through any customers needs. I wound up with the castle creations Talon 90 amp esc.

Thank you so very much Tepid Pilot for the info. Today I found a ZTW site in English and was able to manage a slow start successfully; however, this is not what I was going for and hopefully with the info you provided, I will be able to accomplish my task. I do believe I am going to lean toward the Castle Talon like I have in my Seagull Glasair Sportsman 2.
Again, thank you. Keith
