I am in the process of assembling this Spit. All went well until I came to install the receiver!
From the pictures in the downloaded manual, it is not clear exactly where the Rx should sit. I have been trying with both an end-pins Rx and a side-pins one.
What seems to complicate matters is that the lead to the battery from the ESC blocks off access to the Rx location and also the elevator and rudder servo leads come from above whereas the aileron and flap leads come from below.

So, which style of Rx pins fits best and what orientation.
The space in the fuse is pretty cramped particularly in trying to get hold of the wing leads to push into the Rx.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
Thanks, William

Got the problem with the Rx sorted.

Have flown now. Good flier once trimmed out.

Worst feature is weak retracts! Anything less than a feather-touch landing seems to bend the legs easily? May have to replace the fancy legs with piano wire for better strength; has anybody done this and found it better?

Thanks,
William
