I double checked, The Elite 400 motors are inrunners, in either 4200kv or 3700kv, you can't use those for your application unless it's in a gearbox...

you want something around 1200-1400kv,

I don't think it's the crystal... I think it's an incompatibilty with the gws rx and Jr radio... I've seen this same thing with some gws servos on a spectrum rx...

Yes, it would need a bigger prop, although I'd hate to handlaunch a pusher with such a big prop...

the mount bolted up fine, but it needed a slight carving inside to make sure the motor wires...

One thing you have to look at is his voltage under load... sometimes he used battery's that were weak... sometimes as low as 10.1volts or less on 3cell.. whereas newer batterys can hold voltage...

I have used both without issues... Buy the programming card it isn't totally needed due to the fact that you can program them with throttle settings, but it's a whole lot easyier...
