    John,
Figured you were probably busy but glad your'e still around.
Mr. Mulligan has been nearly completely repaired and ready to maiden again....lots of time and work involved a little challenging but none the less satisfying. I'm pretty certain it suffered a signal loss due to a bad AR6200 satellite cable. It's been replaced and all looks good.
Spoke to Josh once about 6mo ago. He said he got engaged and is living in N.of Austin in Pfleugerville but intends to get back into flying again.
Mike and I visited a few months ago at a Killeen RC flying event and have talked on the phone a few time but that's it. He hasn't flown since leaving the Army I don't think but still wants to.
Stay in touch I hang out over on RCG Groups and have a blog there but still check back here once in a while.

Hey, John....! I thought I'd drop by and say hello. How's it going....?

My most recent maiden was a Great Planes 1930's Golden Age Racer "MISTER MULLIGAN". It took me awhile to get the nerve up but turned out it was not that scary at all. Loved the way it flew up until the third sortie when it lost signal and crashed. What a heart break....it's being rebuilt and will fly again though.

Sure miss flying with you. I'm hanging out on RC Groups most of the time for the last few years but haven't forgotten the good times we had, brief as they were.

    John,

Just dropping you a line to see how you are doing, I heard you guys are having a colder than normal winter over there yeah? Looking forward to your TDY so we can all get together and catch up - I am looking at building a Yardbird F-22 like yours, and if I have it together you can fly it while you are here lol

    Take care,
    josh

John- Good to hear form you. I hope you'll be back with the family soon for the Holidays. What's Thanksgiving like in Germany????? Don't tell me.... Bratwurst? Right?

Nothing from Mike real recently but his last said he'd be home come November. I think I recall a post from him somewhere on here. We're looking forward to seeing him back and getting into the air.

I picked up a Haikong Spitfire NIB at a swap meet in Austin last weekend. I'm pretty impressed with it. Plans are to add some details and paint it olive green and light brown camo. Maybe add some retracts if posssible. I need to study up on that. I'm curious what motor you have in yours?

Well, you take care. Josh and I will have some great flying to look forward to in a few months. Maybe some grilled Johnsonville Brats thrown in too.
