    John,
Figured you were probably busy but glad your'e still around.
Mr. Mulligan has been nearly completely repaired and ready to maiden again....lots of time and work involved a little challenging but none the less satisfying. I'm pretty certain it suffered a signal loss due to a bad AR6200 satellite cable. It's been replaced and all looks good.
Spoke to Josh once about 6mo ago. He said he got engaged and is living in N.of Austin in Pfleugerville but intends to get back into flying again.
Mike and I visited a few months ago at a Killeen RC flying event and have talked on the phone a few time but that's it. He hasn't flown since leaving the Army I don't think but still wants to.
Stay in touch I hang out over on RCG Groups and have a blog there but still check back here once in a while.

    Dick

    Hello, Dick.
Thanks for the message. I have been pretty busy this last year or so. Lot of travelling and getting ready to retire. Hopefully by this time next year I will be a civilian with a brand new job. Sorry to read about the Mr. Mulligan. Do you think it was a brown-out on the receiver?
I miss flying with you guys, too. I have traded a few messages with Mike this year. I haven't heard from Josh in a very long while. We had a nice little group down in Killeen. If you are ever near OK City please drop a line and you are always Welcome to stop by for a visit.

    Thanks my friend,
The WW was a complete surprise/relief to me. It does have a wide cord and smaller ailerons compared to the GB and that may contribute to the handling.
The Curtis P-6E and the P-36A probably will be built sometime soon I hope - due to thier size I should find a proper area to fly first. However I bought a used 54" Ryan YPT-16/STA ARF (Sporstman Aviation) that is calling me....she needs structural reinforcing here and there and I'm waiting on power components from China right now.
    Stay tuned...
Hope your enjoying your flying season is going well.....got your eyes on anything new for your hanger?

Good copy there BD...WX forecast looks really good too. I'm up late again as usual doing some work on the Sukkoi for Brent and trying to finish up that little 3D. I'd really like to maiden the WW and get you to do the vid. Been flying the yellow Gee Bee in preparation.
    See you later ...

So at least 5 days off. But yah I can fly this weekend. I hope to have my new Trojan dolled up and ready.

Sorry you're working such long hours this week. I'm going to plan on departing around 0900 and arv prob 1100-ish..

Not certain if they have a shower but you might want to bring a towel and soap should you care to....

    Brent is NOT coming.

    Didn't know he was coming.

I have not been able to put my kit together like I wanted to - Ive been working 12+ hour days this week. I did get my easy-up canopy and 5' folding table and a chair for myself but I haven't put my flying kit together (only bringing the Corsair) and I haven't shopped for supplies. I am gonna work on that tonight when I get off (going shopping and packing up the truck.) I figure if I leave around 10am I'll get there at noon and that will be good time. Thoughts?

PS - Seriously - Brent is coming?

I think this would be a great candidate for your P-36 - 110 Watts per pound is a good range - in the "fast scale" range for 8lbs AUW - you can run two 3S 2200's on this motor too.
